Budi Santoso
Role: Founder & Chairman, Juara Holding Group
Credentials: Over 25 years in Indonesian luxury hospitality; Former General Manager for GHM and Alila Hotels; Board Member, ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies) Bali Chapter.
Bio: Budi is the visionary behind the Juara Holding Group. His career has been dedicated to showcasing the beauty and sophistication of Indonesian hospitality to a global audience. He founded Balisunsetcruise Destination with the mission to elevate maritime tourism to the same world-class standard as Bali’s finest resorts. Budi’s extensive network and uncompromising commitment to quality are the cornerstones of our brand’s reputation.
Dewi Lestari
Role: Head of Curation & Client Relations
Credentials: WSET Level 3 Award in Wines; Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS); 15 years of experience in guest relations with Four Seasons and Aman resorts.
Bio: Dewi is the arbiter of taste and the architect of our guest experiences. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of a cruise, from the thread count of the linens to the vintage of the champagne, meets our exacting standards. Dewi personally leads the final vetting of all partner vessels and works closely with clients to understand their vision, transforming abstract desires into perfectly executed moments. Her work is guided by our transparent evaluation methodology.
Captain I Wayan Arta
Role: Head of Maritime Operations & Safety
Credentials: Master Mariner Class I (ANT I) from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Ditjen Hubla); Certified in Advanced Fire Fighting and Medical First Aid (STCW); Over 20 years of experience navigating the Indonesian archipelago.
Bio: Captain Wayan is our guardian on the water. His profound knowledge of the local seas, weather patterns, and maritime regulations is unparalleled. He is responsible for the rigorous safety audits of every vessel in our collection, ensuring they not only meet but exceed Indonesian and international safety protocols. Captain Wayan’s primary mandate is the safety and security of our guests, a responsibility he upholds with unwavering professionalism. He ensures all operations comply with our strict Safety & Compliance standards.
Agung Pratama
Role: Senior Concierge Specialist
Credentials: Member of Les Clefs d’Or Indonesia; Certified Butler from The British Butler Institute; Trilingual (Indonesian, English, Japanese).
Bio: Agung is the master of logistics and the impossible request. As a member of the prestigious Les Clefs d’Or, he embodies the spirit of service. Agung and his team manage all land-based arrangements, including VIP airport transfers from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), private security, and priority bookings at Bali’s most exclusive venues. He is the seamless link between your life ashore and your experience at sea, ensuring every transition is flawless.
Rina Wulandari
Role: Sustainability & Community Outreach Coordinator
Credentials: M.Sc. in Marine Conservation from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB); Certified Divemaster; Former project coordinator for The Nature Conservancy Indonesia.
Bio: Rina leads our commitment to responsible tourism. She develops and oversees our sustainability initiatives, from forging partnerships with organizations like the Coral Triangle Center to implementing our single-use plastic ban. Rina works directly with our vessel partners to improve their environmental footprint and manages our community fund, ensuring our presence has a positive and lasting impact on Bali’s coastal communities and ecosystems.
