Corporate & Regulatory Standing
Our operations are fully transparent and compliant with all Indonesian laws, providing a foundation of trust and reliability.
- Official Tourism License: Balisunsetcruise Destination operates under the Juara Holding Group, which holds a valid Surat Izin Usaha Pariwisata (SIUP) issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy).
- Tax & Legal Registration: We are a fully registered Indonesian entity with a valid Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) tax identification number, and we are in good standing with the Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (Directorate General of Taxes).
- Financial Stability: As part of the diversified Juara Holding Group, we offer robust financial stability and corporate governance, ensuring your investment with us is secure.
Maritime Safety & Vessel Certification
We enforce a rigorous safety protocol for every vessel in our curated collection, audited by our expert Head of Maritime Operations.
- Mandatory Vessel Documentation: We refuse to partner with any vessel that cannot produce a valid, current Surat Kelaiklautan Kapal (Certificate of Seaworthiness) and a Gross Akte (Certificate of Registry).
- Port Clearance (SPB): For every single voyage, no matter how short, the vessel’s captain must obtain a Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (SPB), or port clearance, from the local Syahbandar (Port Master). This confirms the vessel is fit for sea, properly crewed, and that weather conditions are safe.
- SOLAS-Compliant Equipment: We conduct physical audits to ensure the presence and functionality of all required safety equipment, including: GPS navigation, VHF Marine Radio, an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), satellite telephone, SOLAS-approved life rafts, and a full manifest of life jackets for all passengers and crew.
- Fire & Medical Readiness: All vessels are equipped with certified fire suppression systems and a comprehensive offshore medical kit. Key crew members are certified in Medical First Aid.
Crew Certification & Training
A vessel is only as safe as its crew. We verify the credentials and experience of every crew member.
- Captain’s License: All captains must hold a minimum of an Ahli Nautika Tingkat (ANT) III license, with many holding higher ANT II or ANT I qualifications for larger vessels.
- Crew Competency: Every crew member is required to hold a valid Basic Safety Training (BST) certificate in accordance with STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) conventions. This includes training in personal survival techniques, fire prevention, and first aid.
- Regular Drills: We require our partners to conduct and log regular safety drills, including man-overboard and fire drills, to ensure the crew is prepared for any eventuality.
Guest & Staff Welfare
Our duty of care extends to every person on board and ashore.
- Comprehensive Insurance: All voyages are covered by comprehensive third-party liability insurance. Furthermore, all our employees and the crews of our core partners are covered by Indonesia’s national health (BPJS Kesehatan) and social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) programs.
- Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a detailed EAP that includes direct communication lines with the local Basarnas (National Search and Rescue Agency) and international medical evacuation services.
- Ground Safety: Our commitment to safety extends to our land transport. All our vehicles are modern, regularly maintained, and equipped with GPS tracking. Our chauffeurs are professionally trained and vetted.
